How did you get here? Two ways: selecting Primary Help or Alternate Help.
• Primary help disables the calculator function of the display, hides the main display and produces a transmogrified calculator face that has hot spots that are inverted by passing the cursor over them. Clicking will cause the help window to be brought to the front, autoscrolling to the entry in the Table of Contents and highlighting it. This is useful to investigate the purpose of a button without having to know what to call it.
• Alternate help allows the normal functionality of the calculator while also displaying
the help window. This allows one ot read a topic in the help window and at the same time test the ideas by keying them into the calculator.
To select a Help topic:
- Click on a topic name in the table of contents, or
- In Primary Help mode, activate the Calculator window, move the mouse so that a button or object of interest is inverted and click. The Help Window will activate and display information on that topic.
